On 8 February 2024, A.P. Møller – Mærsk A/S (APMM) announced its intention to initiate a demerger and separate listing of its towage and marine services activities in Svitzer.
In line with this process, and subject to the final approval of APMM shareholders at an Extraordinary General Meeting, to be held on 26 April 2024, the shares in Svitzer A/S (Svitzer), its subsidiaries, as well as certain other related assets and liabilities will, as part of the demerger, be contributed by APMM to a new legal entity under the name of Svitzer Group A/S (Svitzer Group). The Svitzer Group shares are expected to be admitted for trading and official listing on Nasdaq Copenhagen A/S.
Svitzer has reported on its 2023 financial and non-financial performance in the 2023 Annual Report and has published a prospectus and a retail investor brochure (in Danish), all available via the links to the right, together with the presentation given at Svitzer’s Capital Markets Day, held on 5 March 2024.
