Deniz Kirdar True joins Svitzer Australia
Deniz Kirdar True has joined Svitzer Australia as General Manager for our East Coast Ports, stepping into the role in October 2020.
With 17 years’ experience in global shipping in both frontline and headquarter roles, Deniz has worked across various Maersk brands in Turkey, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Denmark and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of General Manager for East Coast.
Deniz joined Svitzer in 2014, first as Chief Operating Officer for Svitzer Europe and most recently as Head of Operational Excellence in Svitzer Headquarters in Copenhagen.
In her most recent role, Deniz has closely collaborated with various teams from Svitzer Australia during development and implementation across many projects.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Middle East Technical University and Master of Science in Organisational Psychology with merit from University of London.
